Structures Design Engineer, Business Aviation On site, Indiana | $80,000 to $140,000 (DOE) + benefits | Full US work authorisation requirediO Associates are partnered with a leading aircraft completions organisation, to appoint a Structures Design Engineer for its growing operation, driven by continued demand across VIP interior modification programmes.This is a production facing engineering role focused on structural design support across VIP interiors and certified aircraft modification activity, working closely with multi-disciplinary engineering and hangar teams.You will be: Producing 2D and 3D structural designs and installation documentation for VIP aircraft modification programmesSupporting STC and Part 25 compliance activity alongside certification and engineering teamsWorking cross functionally with structures, interiors, systems and production to deliver certifiable, buildable solutionsSupporting shop-floor issue resolution to keep build activity on track You will need: 2+ years experience in aerospace structures and/or aircraft interiors and modificationsAutoCAD experience in SolidWorksExposure to FAA-certified modification environments, with STC knowledge beneficial.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hangar environmentFull US work authorisation Apply today for a confidential discussion, with interviews available within 24 hours.
