Structured Cabling Foreman

About the role

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Foreman for its Structured Cabling Department within the Technology Division. The foreman will work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of work, managing technicians and apprentice technicians on projects of varying complexities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and define scope and mobilization plan.
• Assist with activity coordination and sequencing.
• Interpret project specifications and construction drawings.
• Plan resources, produce material requisitions, and manage the supply chain.
• Produce a six‑week look‑ahead schedule and assist in project labor projections.
• Interact with clients, general contractors, and other subcontractors.
• Assist project teams in mitigating risks and issues.
• Provide team leadership and utilize construction technology.
• Perform quality control with strong attention to detail.
• Execute site commissioning and turn‑up.
• Deliver excellent customer service and understand customer expectations.
• Demonstrate a goal‑oriented mindset, continuous learning, and a “Can‑Do” attitude.
• Contribute positively to team environment.
• Maintain dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
• Work overtime—including weekends and evenings—based on production needs.
• Stand and walk for extended periods on the production floor.
• Perform other duties or work at other locations as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the structured cabling industry.
• Proven experience running crews.
• Strong safety focus.
• High‑level quality craftsmanship.
• Willingness to educate team members.
• Experience delivering large, complex projects.
• Exposure to Bluebeam.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver’s license.

Schedule

Full‑time position. Typical schedule: Monday – Thursday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday 7:00 am – 2:00 pm.
