Structural Welder
Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift. You will be required to complete a weld test to qualify for this position.
About the role
Bolzoni Auramo Inc. is looking for a Structural Welder whose primary functions will include milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, molding, and all bench operations and inspections. Working from process instructions, sketches, blueprints, and shop orders, you will check parts using various measuring instruments and be accountable for quality inspections before and after welding. You must be able to set up and operate welding machines, adjust speeds, feed, and temperature controls, and maintain quality welds. The role involves assisting in the welding process of cylinder manufacturing using both robotic and hand welding skills, as well as identifying weld quality.
After successfully completing the weld test, positions will be awarded based on seniority.
Responsibilities
- Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, molding, and bench operations
- Work from process instructions, sketches, blueprints, and shop orders
- Check parts using various measuring instruments
- Conduct quality inspections before and after welding
- Set up and operate welding machines, adjusting speeds, feed, and temperature controls
- Locate work fixtures and maintain quality welds
- Assist in welding processes for cylinder manufacturing using robotic and hand welding skills
- Identify weld quality
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required
- Welding Certification required
- 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Results-oriented individual with good mechanical skills
- Hands-on, systematic approach
- High attention to detail
- Must pass a welding certification test

Schedule
