Structural Team Lead
About the role
We are seeking a Structural Team Lead to join our team at HDR. This role is part of our Building Engineering Services Group, where you will help design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes spaces where people work, connect, and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Assist with administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions
- Lead and coordinate services with other sections
- Be involved in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews
- Directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production, and related issues

- Ensure that all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated through proactive project management system
- Implement, monitor, and support company policy
- Aid in the selection, training, development, and management of technical personnel
- Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis
- Experience with Data Centers and Water Treatment Facilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years experience
- Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
Qualifications
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Good leadership and organizational skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
