Structural Summer Intern (Texas)

About the Role

L.A. Fuess Partners is looking for enthusiastic Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering Summer interns to join our team. Openings in our DALLAS, AUSTIN, and MCKINNEY offices.

Responsibilities

• Assist a team in a wide variety of tasks related to design of structures for commercial, residential, institutional and industrial buildings.
• Develop and coordinate construction documents.
• Visit construction sites.
• Learn to use state-of-the-art software for analysis, design and drawing.
• Work in a supportive team environment aided by structural engineers with decades of experience and recent graduates.
• Work in a professional atmosphere with flexible hours.
• Work with nationally known architects and developers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in civil/structural engineering or architectural engineering.
• It is preferred that candidates have completed at least one course in concrete or steel prior to the internship.
