Structural Steel Welder Installer

About the role

Responsible for installing and maintaining structural steel components in various construction projects. Must possess strong welding skills and knowledge of safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble structural steel components using welding and cutting techniques.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations during all work activities.
• Work closely with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed steel structures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of related experience in structural steel installation.
• Welding certification from a recognized organization.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power equipment.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
