Structural Revit BIM Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop structural Revit models, families, and contract documents.
• Learn and follow project CAD-BIM standards, discipline guidelines and instructions from engineers and/or other design staff to produce contract drawings.
• Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards.
• Execute redlines from Engineers and senior CAD Designers.
• Collapse structural Revit models and contract drawings with other disciplines (process mechanical, electrical, architectural, HVAC, etc.) to avoid interferences using clash detention software.

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Structural design experience.
• 1-3 years of Revit experience.
• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Engineering design, drafting, or related field preferred OR Completion of technical school with CAD design certificate.
• Ambition to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of structural steel and concrete systems.
• Experience with infrastructure associated with wastewater, water and reclaimed water treatment plants, water storage facilities, pipelines, stormwater systems, pump stations and distributions/collection systems.
