Structural Project Engineer (EIT)

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, design and detailing for diverse structure types using various building codes
• Cookordinate design work with in-house staff and other design professionals including Contractors, Architects and Engineers
• Prepare construction documents within a Building Information Modeling (BIM) environment
• Develop precise design specifications and calculations for active projects
• Create technical reports with clear structure and language that clients can easily understand
• Sustain project management by maintaining schedules, processing change orders, and monitoring budgets
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3-6 Years of relevant experience in structural analysis and design
• Understanding of processes, compliance, and other design consulting and construction professionals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree strongly preferred)
• Proven experience (0-5 years) in structural engineering design, calculations, drawings, and analysis in a consulting / design office environment
• Advanced proficiency with structural analysis and design software
• Experience with Revit or similar modeling software is highly desirable
• Strong technical writing skills (reports, memos, calculations)
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines
• Willingness to travel to job sites (as needed)
