Responsibilities
- Aid in directing, coordinating, planning, organizing, integrating, and completing engineering projects within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements.
- Plan and formulate engineering programs and organize project staff according to project requirements.
- Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of buildings and materials using various building codes.
- Manage other design team members and supervise the work of engineers and draft persons.
- Direct project staff in preparing contract documents, such as drawings and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture engineering.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer and/or SE License preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally.
Qualifications
Experience in medium to large-size projects such as cultural buildings, office buildings, health care, research facility design, and tenant renovation work preferably in a consulting engineering firm environment.
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
