About the role
Siegfried is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to lead the design and production of structural construction documents for a variety of projects in the public and private sectors. This includes commercial, industrial, and public infrastructure buildings.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of structural construction document production for public and private sector projects
- Structural design of commercial, industrial, and civic buildings
- Conducting structural condition assessments and preparing technical evaluations
- Managing project schedules, budgets, and client communication
- Participation in business development, including scoping and bidding new work
- Mentoring and supporting the development of junior engineering staff
- Cross-team coordination with internal teams and external consultants to ensure project success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- California Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- California Structural Engineer (SE) license in progress preferred
- 4+ years of experience in structural engineering
- Experience designing buildings to California Building Code standards
- Proficiency in RISA-3D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with REVIT, DSA, OSHPD, or bridge design is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage clients and internal teams
Qualifications
