Structural Project Engineer
Job Description
You will join our structural department As our new Project Engineer, you will be part of our energetic and driven group of structural engineers and architects. This is a position for a person who has passed the FE exam and plans to pursue Professional Engineering licensure within two years. The Project Engineer utilizes highly developed verbal and written communication skills to maintain a close relationship with project team members and clients from proposal through construction phase.
- Completing assignments requiring a knowledge of engineering fundamentals and the application of these fundamentals to the production of engineering deliverables
- Executing a variety of engineering tasks including preparation of reports, investigatory studies, engineering design calculations and preparation of Contract Documents
- Maintaining routine communications with the project team members during proposal, design and construction phases of a project
- Reviewing schedules and budgets of projects under their supervision
- Preparing proposals and conducts efforts supporting business development activities
- Performing detailed checking of completed work performed under their direct supervision
- Visiting job sites to review work in progress, gain field experience, and advance practical engineering skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis software (Required)
- Experience with Autodesk Revit (Preferred)
- Successfully passed the FE exam (Required) with intent to pursue Professional Engineering Licensure within two years
- Gains knowledge through participation in technical societies and attendance at internal and external training programs

Pay & Benefits
Ramboll offers a competitive salary range of $82,000 to $102,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
