Structural Project Engineer
Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Civil, Structural, Environmental Health & Safety Engineering, the Project Engineer will:
- Contribute to the structural engineering portion of major projects across industrial, commercial, science + technology, and workplace sectors
- Collaborate on all structural engineering deliverables including data collection, design, specifications, contract documents, shop drawing review, and construction coordination
- Coordinate proactively with multi-discipline design teams to achieve innovative, buildable solutions
- Serve as a mentor and technical resource for junior engineers
Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) required
- 5+ years of structural design experience required
- Proficient in the design of structural steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed metal framing, wood framing, and foundation systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in producing structural construction documents within the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM environment using Revit
- Proficiency in structural analysis software, such as: RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, Tekla TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, RISA, CFS, Anchor Designer (Strong-Tie), Hilti Profis, Ideastatica, Excel/VBA
