AG&E Associates is expanding, and we are seeking a driven Structural Project Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex structural projects while supporting project delivery and team coordination within a growing engineering firm.

Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design across multiple sectors
- Manage design team members and coordinate with senior engineers to deliver project documentation and calculations
- Oversee material selection, structural systems, and preparation of specifications
- Coordinate structural design with architectural and other engineering disciplines
- Support construction administration, including RFIs, shop drawings, and site observations
- Prepare technical reports, diagnostic investigations, and participate in peer reviews
- Manage project tasks, schedules, and assist with team coordination
- Attend client meetings, document discussions, and support business development efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis) and Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis) required
- Minimum of four years of structural engineering experience, specifically in building design
- Must hold an active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of residence, with structural designation
- Proficiency in RAM Structural System, Tekla Structural Designer, Revit, and BIM 360
- Strong knowledge of building codes and structural systems including concrete, steel, masonry, and wood
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality, continuous learning, and mentoring others
