What You’ll Do

  • Ensure Field Alignment and Quality Control: Integrate with field activities to ensure execution aligns with drawings and specifications. Collect measurements, report observations, resolve clashes and RFIs, and conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, identify deficiencies, and communicate issues to the design engineer and construction manager.
  • Direct and Support Construction Activities: Oversee corrective actions of non‑conformance items, provide engineering design interpretation to construction teams, and offer constructability feedback based on model/drawing reviews and existing condition verification.
  • Exercise Engineering Judgment: Make technical assumptions, think independently, and draw conclusions using engineering expertise and experience to complete assigned tasks.
  • Facilitate Communication: Communicate key activities and critical submittals to stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors. Participate in pre‑construction meetings to highlight key structural design items in advance of construction activities.
  • Drive Improvements: Identify and report opportunities for detail, design, and constructability enhancements to engineering teams for continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in structural design of buildings for high‑tech infrastructure, industrial, or manufacturing facilities (semiconductor, data center, solar, battery, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with U.S. building codes and structural design standards.
  • Familiarity with construction norms related to concrete and steel construction.
  • Proficiency with Revizto/Navisworks, Bluebeam, and the Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Revit Structural is a plus.
  • Self‑directed, highly motivated self‑starter with strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and operate with minimal oversight.
