About the role

This role involves overseeing, directing and executing structural engineering designs and permitting efforts for a range of commercial and industrial sector projects.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of excellence and innovation

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with structural concrete, steel and retaining structure rehabilitation design
  • Professional Engineering licensure
  • Proficiency in industry standard structural analysis and building code analysis
  • Deep understanding of building construction techniques and experience with structural framing systems
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, external partners, and multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of business objectives, financial management and market dynamics
  • Collaborative and supportive personal communication style
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience building and mentoring teams of high performing technical people
  • Able to cultivate a culture of execution, accountability, and continuous improvement
