About the role
This role involves overseeing, directing and executing structural engineering designs and permitting efforts for a range of commercial and industrial sector projects.
Responsibilities
- Foster a culture of excellence and innovation
- Manage and mentor engineering team, providing guidance, support and fostering professional growth

- Ensure adherence to best practices, industry regulations and quality assurance processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with structural concrete, steel and retaining structure rehabilitation design
- Professional Engineering licensure
- Proficiency in industry standard structural analysis and building code analysis
- Deep understanding of building construction techniques and experience with structural framing systems
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, external partners, and multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Understanding of business objectives, financial management and market dynamics
- Collaborative and supportive personal communication style
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience building and mentoring teams of high performing technical people
- Able to cultivate a culture of execution, accountability, and continuous improvement
