Careers Structural Engineering Internship at C&Y Engineering provides a comprehensive and immersive experience for aspiring structural engineers. Interns will work on a variety of projects including industrial and commercial building designs, and earth retention structures. They will gain hands-on experience in preparing structural plans, conducting product research, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing proposals and statements of qualification.
• Conduct product research and document compliance with functional and code requirements.
• Write concise basis of design specifications for technical drawings.
• Respond to plan review comments during the permitting process.
• Prepare structural calculations to support project requirements.
• Collaborate with team members on new ideas and innovations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university.
• Major in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Structural Emphasis.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Demonstrates integrity and ethical work practices.

Benefits

The Structural Engineering Internship offers a competitive pay range of $20 to $22 per hour and is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. Interns are not eligible for additional company benefits.
