Structural Engineer II

Job Duties

• Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
• Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI
• Collaborate with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines on structural designs
• Support senior engineers on large facility projects
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 2-5+ Years of experience in design, preferably in structural steel and/or concrete design
• EIT certification preferred
• Experience working independently and in teams
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI
