About the role
This role is ideal for a hands-on structural engineer who can step in and immediately contribute to the design of a wide range of Temporary Works and other structural engineering projects. Our highly qualified structural team supports a wide range of projects, from conventional to complex, requiring practical and constructible design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform and/or direct the design of Temporary Works and other structural engineering projects
- Erection engineering and stability analysis
- Shoring, bracing, and falsework design
- Work with engineers of all experience levels to produce innovative and high-quality solutions
Qualifications
- Must have a Missouri Professional Engineer (PE) license. An Illinois (SE) license is desirable.
- Must possess a Civil Engineering bachelors degree with structural emphasis. A Masters degree with an emphasis in structural engineering is a plus, but not required.
- Must have at least 5 years of applicable full-time post-graduation experience.
- Temporary Works Or Construction Engineering Experience Preferred
- Demonstrated ability with CAD (MicroStation preferred), spreadsheets, and general structural analysis software.
- Motivation to tackle unique structural design challenges in addition to more commonplace projects.
- Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively, and possess the ability to direct the work of junior staff.
- Team-oriented and self-motivated.
- Attention to detail.
Pay
$80,000 - $120,000, salary is commensurate with experience
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours/week, with the possibility of overtime
