Responsibilities
- Perform and prepare reports of structural FEA analyses including non-linear and modal analyses
- Provide oversight of structural FEA analyses performed by Design Engineers
- Provide suggestions for solutions to structural design problems
- Test and validate theoretical structural calculations including but not limited to the selection, application and analyses of strain gauges
- Maintain and update structural design standards
- Perform a variety of calculations to substantiate design using a working knowledge of Sandvik Mining
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in science, environmental, and/or safety discipline, or minimum 4 years experience in EHS focused role
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years experience in EHS focused role
Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and FEA
- Experience with safety management systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Pay
Anticipated salary for this role is expected to be between $79,900 to $108,000.
Schedule
This position requires up to 30% travel, to mine sites, as well as other U.S. sites for EHS support.
