About the role

The Structural Designer - EIT is responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for various projects. This includes creating detailed drawings and specifications while adhering to industry standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for construction projects
• Create detailed drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Review and revise designs based on feedback and project progress

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Experience in structural design and analysis
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in structural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in structural design
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
