Structural Designer

About the role

The Structural Designer is responsible for designing and reviewing structural elements to ensure they meet safety and building codes. This includes creating detailed drawings and specifications, collaborating with architects and engineers, and providing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed structural drawings and specifications
• Review and analyze structural designs for compliance with codes and standards
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate structural elements into overall project plans
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in structural engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000 or ETABS
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
