Structural Design Intern - Energy & Industrial (Summer 2027)

This position has a target start date in summer 2027. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Support senior designers and project team members across a wide range of technologies including power generation, mining, oil and gas, and renewables to ensure structural drawing deliverables are completed on-time and within budget.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines to resolve physical design clashes within the 3D model, while also reviewing the 3D model for completeness.
• Produce 2D structural drawing deliverables with attention to quality, consistency, and accountability that meets or exceeds customer requirements.

Requirements

• We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
• Enrollment in courses toward Associate Degree in CAD Technology, preferred.
• High school diploma and enrollment in CAD certificate course required, if non-degreed.

Skills

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (i.e. AutoCAD or MicroStation).
• Attention to detail.

Pay

Compensation Range: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour. The total compensation package for eligible positions will include a base salary or an hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package. Individuals may also be eligible to participate in our yearly discretionary bonus.
