About the role
This position may be based in any of our offices across Kentucky and Tennessee. In the role of Structural Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
Responsibilities
- Design buildings for Data Centers which will include: new builds, retrofits and colocations.
- Design buildings for support of water bearing structures for local municipalities.
- Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications for structural engineering projects.
- Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standards, techniques, and procedures.
- Give direction to clerical or technical personnel as needed.
- Assist senior staff on site visits to evaluate field conditions.
- Perform structural observations during construction.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
- Knowledge of construction and structural systems
- Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar commercial design software systems.
- Previous design experience (internship or full-time work experience) is a plus.
- Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and other industry-relevant design codes and standards.
- Understanding of gravity and lateral analysis of structural systems.

- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
