Structural Bridge Engineer I (Moving I-4 Forward)
About the role
This is an embedded position reporting to the office 5 days per week. Serving as a Structural Bridge Engineer I, you'll play a crucial role in the firm by preparing project specifications, creating complete project documents, conducting analyses, and managing projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project specifications and complete project documents, analysis, and reports.
- Analyze and interpret data, perform design, planning, and impact studies, cost analyses, site selection, and layout designs.
- Design complete projects, systems, components, and processes.
- Perform quality control reviews and field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects.
- Provide technical guidance and assign tasks to junior and support staff for project duration and/or manage discipline and small multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of relevant experience.
- Knowledgeable of applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
- Proficient in production software and construction document production.
Qualifications
- A degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PE license and in good standing.
Skills
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
