Join us as a Structural Analysis Senior Engineer at Lockheed Martin. This role involves leading complex structural analysis projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural analysis projects from concept through completion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers
• Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards and regulations
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation
• Perform root cause analysis on failures and develop corrective action plans
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural analysis techniques and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural analysis
• Proficiency in ANSYS, ABAQUS, or similar finite element analysis software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred
• Experience with design for manufacturability and assembly
• Knowledge of materials science and its impact on structural integrity
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project

Skills

• Structural analysis using FEA software
• Design optimization techniques
• Material property databases and their application
• Understanding of aerospace and/or automotive industry standards

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
