Responsibilities
- Perform striping services on newly installed tracks and re-striping services on existing tracks in accordance with applicable rules and standards (e.g., NFHS, NCAA).
- Manage striping projects from start to finish, including ensuring proper measurements and spacing, tools and equipment are on-site, and interfacing with client personnel as necessary.
- Perform track striping services throughout 30 U.S. States (east of the Rocky Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean, excluding New England).
- Attention to safety guidelines and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Create and submit project reports and certification letters as required to Supervisor.
- Consult on track construction projects, as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
- Must comply with Tarkett Substance Abuse Policy and DOT Drug Control Program, including pre-employment and random drug and/or alcohol testing.
- Must travel.
- Willing to work days, nights, weekends, and travel.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology, including smartphones and applications.
- Typical physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, reaching, lifting a minimum of 50 lbs., carrying, pushing, pulling, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing, and talking.
- Working outdoors with variable temperature and weather conditions.
Skills
- Previous experience in track striping is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience using a Topcon theodolite is a plus.
- Honest, trustworthy, dependable, and punctual.
- Self-disciplined with a strong work ethic.
- Desire to learn and be trained; ability to learn through on-the-job training.
- Team player who cooperates with co-workers and is polite to customers, contractors, and the traveling public.
- Adhere to safety requirements and procedures; think quickly and act appropriately in emergency situations.
- Ability to work diligently under time restraints.
