About the role

StretchLab, the industry leader in one-on-one assisted stretching, is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Flexologists in Canton, Connecticut. This is an amazing opportunity to become a part of a new modality that is revolutionizing the fitness industry.

Responsibilities as a Flexologist

• Motivating and encouraging clients throughout their stretch sessions
• BUILDING AND RETAINING STRETCHLAB MEMBERSHIPS
• ENSURING CLIENT SAFETY BY APPLYING PROPER STRETCH TECHNIQUES AND ENFORCING OUR POLICIES
• ATTENDING STAFF MEETINGS AND EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS
• ADDRESSING MEMBER CONCERNS
• ASSISTING WITH STUDIO TOURS AND SALES
• MANTAINING A STRONG SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE
• KEEPING EQUIPMENT CLEAN AND WELL-MANAGED

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay range: $23-$26
• Commission based on sales
• Opportunity for performance-based bonuses

Qualifications

• Love of boutique fitness environment is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility.
• PREFERRED BACKGROUND IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
• Massage Therapist
• Personal Trainer
• Physical Therapist
• Pilates or Yoga Instructor
• Dance Instructor
• Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provided hands-on training with clients.
• Fitness certification required.
• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.
• Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy.
• Must love connecting with people and have a passion for helping them achieve their goals.
• Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to our attendance policies.
• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO GO THROUGH OUR 3-DAY FLEXOLIST TRAINING PROGRAM, WHICH INCLUDES 20 HOURS OF ONLINE TUTORIALS AND 3 DAYS OF IN-PERSON/HANDS-ON TRAINING.
