Stress Analysis Engineer with Security Clearance

Schedule

4‑day work week: Monday through Wednesday onsite, Thursday remote.

Responsibilities

• Apply computational methods and tools in specialized areas such as strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance.
• Perform pre‑dimensioning computations using analytical or digital computation methods.
• Assess the credibility of input data and analysis results.
• Participate in developing measurement plans for tests and analyze test results.

Requirements

• Proven experience with structural mechanics simulation software NASTRAN/Patran.
• Familiarity with additional FEA tools such as FEMAP and other pre/post‑processor software.
• Knowledge of MIL‑HDBK‑5.
• Working knowledge of CATIA V5/3DX (preferred).
• Ability to interpret detail, assembly, and installation drawings.
