About the role
This strength and conditioning coach position at D1 Training is for an experienced, world-class coach who can step in on day one and work with any client—from professional athletes like Tim Tebow to college athletes, a 40-year-old mother getting fit, or a 7-year-old first-time athlete. The coach should live for stepping onto the turf/weight floor and helping athletes accomplish their goals.
Responsibilities
- Coach group classes for age groups: 7–11, 12–14, 15–18, and adults
- Deliver one-on-one personal training for clients ranging from beginner 7-year-olds to elite athletes
- Program strength and conditioning workouts for diverse populations
- Maintain a positive, energetic presence with a "can do" attitude
Qualifications
- 3+ years of coaching experience
- Belief that you can be the best coach on staff
- Strong knowledge of strength and conditioning
- Ability to program for clients
- Positive and energetic personality
Required certifications
- Certified Personal Trainer (Required)
- CPR Certification (Required)
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of athlete training experience
- CSCS Certification
- Certified Group Exercise Instructor
Pay
$25–35 per hour + commission/bonus structure
