Strength & Conditioning Assistant Coach

About the Role

Part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Manage student staff and student participants
• Supervise the athletic weight room at the direction and schedule of the Strength and Conditioning Coach
• Coordinate facility scheduling with appropriate directors

Requirements

• Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Good working knowledge of conditioning and weightlifting techniques and programs
• Strength and conditioning certification (CSCS or equivalent) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Expectations

• Adhere to Northwood University rules, regulations, and policies
• Adhere to NCAA and GMAC rules and regulations as necessary
• Provide leadership to promote a positive experience for students
