Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive, periodized education and services program integrated and synchronized with the BDE and Battalion (BN) training calendars.
- Work as part of the H2F Performance Team to support the BDE in reducing medical attrition and increasing readiness.
- Provide Army-specific functional fitness training programs that meet each BDE's Program of Instruction (POI) requirements.
- Target musculoskeletal (MSK) injury prevention and reconditioning education services.
- Perform services in accordance with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or the Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA).
- Be embedded at the BDE level, performing most work in a Military training environment such as fitness centers/gyms, BDE or administrative areas, outdoors, ranges, field training environments, and at the SPRC.
- Observe BDE and below (i.e., BN, company, platoon, squad, team) specific training events like obstacle courses, combatives, and training areas.
- Support quality assurance efforts, ensuring all work performance aligns with H2F objectives.
- May be embedded within H2F Performance Teams across BDEs at various Government installations.
