Streets Liquid Road Operator
Introduction
The City of Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Streets Liquid Road Operator to join its newly established Liquid Road Pavement Preservation Program. This position serves as a senior field operator and technical resource responsible for supporting the successful delivery of pavement preservation treatments throughout the City.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience - High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
Four years of progressively responsible experience in asphalt pavement maintenance, or related street operations work.
Must possess, at time of application, and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations within the past 36 months prior to the start date. The Arizona Motor Vehicle Department requires that out-of-state driver's licenses must be surrendered within 10 days of relocating to the State of Arizona. Note: Graduated Driver’s Licenses are considered restricted.
Must possess, at time of application, a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tank vehicle endorsement with no major citations within the past 36 months prior to the start date. Incumbents will be subject to unannounced drug and alcohol testing as required by law.
Must obtain within six months of hire or promotion and maintain through tenure:
- Maricopa County Particulate Matter-10 (PM-10) Air Quality Standards Certification
- ISSA Temporary Traffic Control Certification
Other pertinent licenses and/or certifications may be required of some positions depending on department/section assignment.
