Key Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in fluvial geomorphology, hydrology, hydraulics, sediment transport, and natural channel design.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design work.
- Engage with clients, conduct fieldwork, mentor team members, and contribute to technical writing and project management.
- Build and maintain client relationships while pursuing business development opportunities for stream and wetland restoration projects.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Tennessee or ability to obtain one.
- Hands-on experience in natural channel and wetland restoration design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Able to lead design teams, produce final engineering plans, author reports, and prepare permit applications.
- Skilled in reviewing and providing detailed feedback on engineering drawings.
- Experience with construction inspection and oversight for stream and wetland projects.
Preferred Skills
- Rosgen Levels 1-4 certification.
- Familiarity with MicroStation and ArcGIS.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools such as HEC-RAS or HEC-HMS.
- Knowledge of Clean Water Act Sections 401 and 404 and permitting processes with state and federal agencies.
- Experience using Tennessee Stream Quantification Tool (SQT) Assessment.
