Strategy, Ops & Excellence Lead - Statistical Sciences

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a roadmap to evolve SSEG functions for future readiness
• Evaluate vendor platforms against capabilities and financial targets
• Work with leadership team to craft department scorecards and KPIs
• Manage resource allocation across teams, optimizing internal and external resources
• Lead annual planning processes, coordinating with finance partners
• Drive strategic projects, overseeing timelines and project management
• Manage information flow and strategic communications within SSEG

Qualifications

• BS/BA required, MS/MBA/PhD preferred
• Minimum 7 years of senior leadership and project management experience
• Leadership experience in a data analytics organization is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in executive-level strategic communications
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and analytical tools like Power BI and R
• Proven ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment
• Good knowledge of clinical trial data and processes

Pay

$200,000 – $275,000 annually
