Strategy Director (P&C Insurance)

About the role

This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate long-term organizational vision and strategic goals
• Align organizational strategy with senior management and stakeholders effectively
• Lead internal consulting projects to identify strategic opportunities and provide actionable insights
• Monitor external trends to inform strategic decision-making
• Facilitate the creation of the organization's three-year strategic plan
• Report on strategic initiative progress to senior management and adjust strategies as necessary
• Mentor junior teammates to support their development

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Science discipline; or equivalent experience may substitute for degree
• 8 years of strategy consulting, corporate or business unit strategy experience; or 6 years with an advanced degree in Business or STEM
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proven project management experience
• Ability to leverage experience and analysis to influence decisions
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong quantitative and communication skills

Pay

$143,320 – $273,930 annually
