Strategy Commodity Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned products/commodities.
• Manage supplier relationships and build effective partnerships.
• Identify and assess supply-chain risks and develop measures to mitigate those risks.
• Coordinate procurement strategies with various departments including Research and Development, Operations, Business Line, and Quality.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports and strategic initiatives to management.

Requirements

• A university degree in business, engineering, or a comparable field.
• +10 years of professional experience in strategic procurement, preferably in global category management at an internationally operating company.
• A proven track record in developing and implementing procurement strategies and achieving cost savings.
• Experience in supplier management and negotiating contracts.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to understand and structure complex issues.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, as well as excellent negotiation abilities.
• An independent, structured, and results-oriented approach to work.
• A high level of initiative and personal responsibility.
• Strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

Must be willing to travel 25-40% domestically and internationally, and be available to work non-standard work hours as needed/required.
