The Strategy and Operations GCS team empowers millions of businesses to grow. As the strategic and operational powerhouse behind Google's services for the Google Customer Solutions (GCS) segment, this team shapes the future of how Google helps small and medium businesses succeed. In this role, you will develop solutions to complex, ambiguous, and high-visibility business problems and opportunities. You will build and execute these solutions while working closely with business teams, influencing goal setting, and transforming early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. The GtM team sets go-to-market strategy and ensures flawless execution and operations against it, with teams embedded in major Ads business areas as well as global cross-business teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with gTech GCS leadership to define, structure, and drive end-to-end strategic and operational initiatives.
- Enable critical decision-making by working with cross-functional stakeholders to gather context, cross-pollinate learnings, and drive business analysis.
- Contribute to key business cadences, including annual business planning, OKR setting, and business reviews for leadership and partner teams.
- Provide oversight and connectivity to business-focused standalone initiatives, removing execution roadblocks and eliminating conflicts.
- Advocate leadership to align resources to client outcomes while managing global priorities and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory role.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA.
- Experience managing executive stakeholders and leading high-impact internal and external executive communications.
- Experience thriving in ambiguity and managing strategy in a fluid, constantly evolving environment.
- Domain expertise across operations, customer solutions, and internet/online media.
- Exceptional project management, investigative, and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of leading operational and cross-functional initiatives.
Pay
US: $152,000 - $221,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
