Strategy and Operations DIrector

About the role

The Strategy & Operations Director at HCA Healthcare supports the development and execution of nursing strategic plans, provides operational support for strategic initiatives, and manages the nursing operating model in support of the overall Nursing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategy/operational support for strategic initiatives including: breaking down complex problems into discrete tasks, leading project execution, providing answers to questions, detailing strategic implications, and offering unique insights.
• Planner, organizer, and facilitator of medium-to-large strategy and design sessions for strategic initiatives.
• Storyboarding effectively and creating executive level presentations that communicate actionable plans to senior leaders.
• Leadership and support for the design and execution of the nursing operating model cascade to corporate, division, and facility clinical leadership, including planning, coordinating, and/or facilitating key forums.
• Supports the development and execution of all aspects of annual strategic planning with corporate & division leadership, including conducting and synthesizing analyses on key industry trends, planning, organizing, and/or facilitating medium-to-large strategy and design sessions, capturing/synthesizing findings and recommendations, and developing key materials for strategy and design sessions.
• Supports the coordination and development of all Executive Deliverables for Clinical Services Group including Governance meetings, Business plans, and various other leadership presentations.

Requirements

• College Degree and 7-10 years healthcare experience required; Hospital operations experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in Strategy/Consulting/Operations required.
• Moderate-to-large scale project coordination experience is required.
• Expert understanding of PowerPoint.

• Strong business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills needed to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
