Strategic Technology Sourcing Manager 3

For our client, we are seeking a Strategic Technology Sourcing Manager 3 to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will shape sourcing strategy for critical technologies that support advanced programs and long-term business readiness. The position is responsible for identifying supply chain gaps, building proactive solutions, and strengthening partnerships that enable execution across engineering, capture, and executive stakeholders. You will also help align manufacturability, investment decisions, and strategic agreements to reduce risk and improve program outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $159,500 – $239,300 annually Responsibilities Identify supply chain gaps and proactively propose solutions Develop forecasts and sourcing strategies for critical technologies Provide sourcing support for priority captures across the organization Collaborate with Engineering to enhance manufacturability and reduce sourcing risks Manage strategic partner agreements and participate in executive committees Pursue and manage technology investments for program readiness Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience, in engineering, manufacturing, business development, program management, or supply chain 5+ years of leadership experience, direct or indirect Knowledge of manufacturing and/or engineering processes, defense technologies, and defense programs Experience preparing proposals for government acquisitions Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance Benefits Comprehensive health insurance coverage Life and disability insurance Savings plan options Company-paid holidays Paid time off (PTO) for vacations and personal business Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
