Strategic Supply Chain Manager, Amazon
About the role
The Amazon US Consumer Electronics organization is looking for a Supply Chain Manager for their Home Entertainment GL. This role involves end-to-end business ownership of all supply chain processes from manufacturer to customer. The manager will establish and drive inventory management strategies to maximize customer experience while optimizing sales, margin, and turns. They will use data to influence key decisions, build sustainable and scalable systems, and ensure Amazon has the right product quantities in the right places at the right time.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to drive system and process automations, partner with vendor management teams, and directly engage with vendors to improve instock metrics. They will also contribute to business reviews for senior leadership and optimize the supply chain cost structure for profitability.
Responsibilities
- Identify and deliver operational improvement opportunities around buying and demand planning.
- Monitor and improve key supply chain metrics such as Out of Stock rate, Overstock Rate, Total Inbound Lead Time, Delivery Speed, and Confirmation/Fill Rates.
- Share supply chain insights and contribute to business reviews for Senior Leadership (verbal and written).
- Optimize supply chain cost structure and profitability through vendor engagement, project management, and collaboration with partner teams on system improvements.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Excel.
- 3+ years of supply chain, inventory management, or project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control.
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
- Experience with SQL.
Pay
Base salary range: $82,700.00 – $128,300.00 USD annually (Seattle, WA). The total compensation package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
