Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary

Quincy Compressor seeks a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support our company mission, vision, and values. The ideal candidate will manage purchasing activities, analyze market conditions, and ensure supplier compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operational elaboration of Quincy’s purchasing policy in terms of quality, price, and delivery performance
• Achieve purchasing goals through sourcing process, price control, proposal analysis, negotiation, contract management, supplier performance reviews, and resolution of invoice issues
• Prepare and present spend analysis of assigned categories/suppliers, identifying opportunities and risks
• Provide prompt and accurate purchasing support to internal customers
• Follow-up on supplier quality and delivery performance, analyzing market conditions, and reporting on trends affecting purchased products
• Ensure suppliers comply with Quincy business practices and develop themselves according to quality and logistics demands

Requirements

• Preferred degree in Supply Chain Management, Business/Applied Economics, or related field
• At least 3 years of Purchasing experience, with production environment and commodities experience preferred
• Profound knowledge of English, with other languages a plus
• Excellent knowledge and experience in Microsoft environment, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented approach
