About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will manage sourcing and supplier priorities that improve value, reliability, and operational performance. You will partner with finance, operations, legal, and business stakeholders to negotiate effectively, manage vendors, and support better purchasing decisions. The position offers the opportunity to improve cost discipline, supplier performance, and the processes that support scalable execution within a Real Estate & Construction environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Support optimization of managed services operations for clients and stakeholders
- Deliver market, supplier, and operational intelligence related to sourcing strategies
- Conduct market trend analysis and report findings to stakeholders
- Implement and coordinate regional and national sourcing initiatives
- Manage supplier relationships and performance programs
- Guide operations teams in RFP, procurement, and contracting processes
- Ensure compliance with sourcing policies and legal requirements
- Establish priorities and resolve operational issues for client satisfaction
- Support development of diversity programs and supplier education initiatives
- Lead performance review meetings for Preferred Suppliers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or related fields
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution
- Proven leadership capability in decentralized team environments
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize market data
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Project management experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications
Compensation
$100,000 – $114,700 annually
