Strategic Sourcing Specialist

About the role

This position develops and drives sourcing strategies for local and regional initiatives for Facility Management Services that deliver value to JLL and our clients.

Responsibilities

• Build strong cross-functional relationships and partner with internal Facilities Management teams and clients to drive both immediate and sustained benefits.
• Proactively manage internal and external customer expectations by understanding their business needs and priorities.
• Bring strategic thought leadership to identify cost and operational efficiencies related to Sourcing or Contract Management activities.
• Develop category plans providing visibility into subcategory spends, supplier summaries, stakeholder engagement plans, contract summaries, and market insights for short- and long-term strategies.
• Assess and build annual sourcing initiatives with detailed service commodity strategies, including objectives, leveraged spend initiatives, and milestone timelines.
• Lead the development of change management plans for sourcing activities, ensuring timely communication and engagement of key stakeholders throughout the initiative lifecycle.
• Meet with JLL and Client Leadership to review progress, advocate for change, and secure sponsorship.
• Administer and maintain Supplier contract files to ensure compliance and documentation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing and contracting policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular market and spend analysis programs to drive cost savings and supplier improvements.
• Conduct local and regional Supplier Performance review meetings, manage supplier scorecards, contract compliance, and service obligations.
• Build transparency of Supplier spend and key risks related to suppliers, and lead reporting of results and opportunities.
• Provide management, detailed instruction, and continuous follow-up to support operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contract processes.
• Establish relationships with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Establish contracts with selected service providers in specific markets, ensuring adherence to contracting and procurement standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with the execution of strategies and business processes for new supplier evaluation, risk assessment, and supplier performance management.
• Oversee management of new supplier onboarding, including JLL system setups, supplier rollout, and transition support.
• Perform any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Pay

Salary range (base + target bonus): $95,000–120,000 per year.
