Strategic Sourcing Manager
About the role
Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and improve Sourcing strategies at business or plant level. May also include management of regional & business teams.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Use prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.
- Serve as an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills.
- Communicate with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members. Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
- Impact projects, processes and procedures in own field. Operate with some autonomy, but focus on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.
- Exercise professional judgment, with potential need for more senior levels of guidance.
- Utilize technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverage technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing, ideally from a similar industry

- Established project management skills
Pay
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $94,600.00 and $157,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
