Strategic Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify needs and research categories
• Complete Request for Proposals (RFPs)
• Collect and analyze data
• Participate in vendor discussions and negotiations
• Develop contracts
• Interact with internal and external customers to ensure end-user satisfaction and supplier performance
• Develop sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes
• Craft negotiation strategies and close contracts with optimal terms
• Maintain thorough knowledge of product and service needs and industry developments
• Establish and manage category projects involving key stakeholders and suppliers
• Build effective working relationships with suppliers
• Manage supplier relationships and performance
• Resolve issues and update contracts as necessary
• Coordinate activities related to owner-furnished equipment
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of received goods into the system
• Manage the supply replenishment process
• Provide detailed reports to the manager aiding in the internal billing process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree [Required]
• Master's degree [Preferred]
• 3+ years of experience leading projects in a collaborative team environment [Required]
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare [Preferred]
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain contracting or strategic sourcing [Required]
• GPO programs and processes within healthcare [Preferred]
• Cardiovascular or electrophysiology experience [Preferred]
• CMRP certification [Preferred]
