Strategic Sourcing Category Manager - IT - Remote
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Category Manager - IT - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will lead strategic sourcing efforts within the IT category, supporting small to medium initiatives that drive value across the organization. The position will partner closely with senior leadership, legal counsel, suppliers, and a group purchasing organization to manage sourcing strategy, competitive procurement, and contract negotiations. It is well suited for a supply chain professional who can balance analytical rigor, stakeholder collaboration, and process discipline in a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing activities for small to medium initiatives
- Manage competitive sourcing processes and complex contract negotiations
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies in collaboration with senior management
- Oversee the lifecycle of sourcing projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and a group purchasing organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a clinical discipline
- 5+ years of relevant supply chain experience or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing processes and complex contract negotiations
- Understanding of Lean principles and technical problem-solving
- Strong analytical skills for conducting complex financial analyses

Pay
$100,000 – $120,000 annually
