Strategic Project Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary designs and specifications for engineering and materials, including cost estimates
• Coordinate with equipment vendors, ensuring project schedules and utility requirements are met
• Conduct engineering planning and operational reviews during pre-project studies for feasibility
• Review and manage bid packages for compliance and completeness while preparing essential project documents
• Drive employee development and foster a positive workplace atmosphere

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field plus 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience focused on team development and management
• Strong capability to apply engineering principles to operational and design issues
• Expertise in installation and construction project scheduling
• Essential Project Management and Contract Administration skills, with knowledge of national codes and standards interpretation
• Proficient in engineering economics and AutoCAD
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
