About the role

The Strategic Planning Associate in the Enterprise Strategy Office is responsible for analytical activities related to strategic planning and business development within the organization. This role provides analytical support for opportunity identification and business case development and performs routine external analyses and market research.

Responsibilities

  • Provides analytical support for opportunity identification and business case development
  • Performs routine external analyses and market research
  • Supports special project qualitative and quantitative research in support of enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic, and business development opportunities
  • Maintains databases and manages external data sources such as KHA, Sg2, and other third-party vendors

Requirements

  • Work experience in strategic planning and market analysis/forecasting is required.
  • Project management and office administration is preferred.
  • Experience in a complex, matrix and academic medical center environments is preferred.

  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across the enterprise.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Outcome-oriented, with ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and has the ability to work in various mapping and analytical tools.
  • Self-directs and self-educates on future external impact factors; appropriately summarizes and makes recommendations to team.
  • Works collaboratively with external consultants.
  • Comfortable completing complex tasks and projects on a tight deadline.
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal guidance and move priorities forward while engaging key decisionmakers.
  • Values the importance of developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues throughout the Enterprise.

Benefits

Salary range: $54,080 - $95,056/year

Pay

$54,080 - $95,056/year

Schedule

Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; some weekends and/or evenings may be required per departmental needs.
