Strategic Initiatives Business Analyst / Product Owner
Drive transformation, influence strategy, and deliver impact as a Business Analyst at the intersection of strategy, product, and execution. This high-visibility contract role partners directly with senior leadership to shape digital customer experiences and drive enterprise-wide growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis efforts for strategic, enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Translate business objectives into requirements, roadmaps, and execution plans.
- Gather, document, and prioritize business and product requirements.
- Create user stories, manage backlogs, and support Agile delivery teams.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and readiness concerns across programs.
- Develop business cases and executive-ready recommendations.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure initiative success.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience teams.
- Drive alignment among stakeholders and influence decisions across a matrixed organization.
- Support digital commerce and customer experience transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Product Management, Strategy, Consulting, or a related field.
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering expertise.
- Product Owner or Product Management experience.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Agile and Scrum experience.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and user story creation.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence teams and leaders without direct authority.
- Experience presenting insights and recommendations to executive audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Digital commerce/eCommerce environment experience.
- Telecommunications or technology industry experience.
- Subscription-based business models experience.
- Digital sales, self-service, or customer acquisition initiatives experience.
- Product Owner certification.
- Data visualization and analytics tools experience.
- Large enterprise or matrixed organization experience.
- Experience supporting integrations, partnerships, or transformation initiatives.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hour. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
