Strategic Finance Lead

Responsibilities

• Own forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning for the company
• Run planning cycles by partnering with department heads
• Analyze actual results against budget and forecasts to provide insights
• Define and track key performance metrics and develop dashboards for leadership
• Act as a business partner across various functions to support strategic initiatives
• Prepare board-quality analyses and presentations on financial performance
• Support strategic and ad-hoc modeling work for various business scenarios
• Drive process improvements within the FP&A function

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A or strategic finance experience, preferably in high-growth startups or tech companies
• Exceptional financial modeling capabilities with advanced tools
• Experience using AI for forecasting, analysis, automation, or reporting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statements
• Proficient in analyzing financial data and communicating insights clearly
• Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences
• Experience with financial planning software and comfort with SQL or BI tools
• Ownership-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in unstructured environments
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy under pressure
